Enfinite is proposing the construction and operation of eReserve5, a 20-Megawatt (MW) battery energy storage facility (BESF) approximately 3 kilometers southeast of the Village of Hughenden, in the Municipal District of Provost No. 52, Alberta (the Project). Enfinite intends to apply to the Alberta Utilities Commission for approval to install the eReserve5 BESF, located at SW 03-041-07 W4M, to support the reliability of the distribution network and local electricity demands to ensure consumers needs are met. eReserve5 will be located on privately owned and previously disturbed land east of the AltaLink owned Hughenden 213S Substation.
