Enfinite is proposing the construction and operation of eReserve 7, a 20-Megawatt (MW) battery energy storage facility (BESF) approximately 4 kilometers west of the community of Wapiti in the Municipal District of Greenview, Alberta (the Project). Enfinite intends to apply to the Alberta Utilities Commission for approval to install the eReserve7 BESF, located at NW-08-069-08 W6M, to support the reliability of the distribution network and local electrical needs when consumers need it most. eReserve7 will be collocated with eReserve8 on privately owned and previously disturbed land directly north of the ATCO owned Wapiti 823S Substation.
